Cookie Policy

Current cookie use

The core Service does not require a user account and does not set advertising or cross-site advertising cookies. Click deduplication and the live-audience counter use short-window one-way server fingerprints rather than visitor cookies. Live-presence records expire after approximately 24 hours.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics, DataFast, and Google Analytics 4 for aggregate page, click, checkout-funnel, and verified-purchase measurement. DataFast's standard tracker uses first-party visitor and session identifiers to improve journey and revenue attribution. Google advertising storage, ad personalization, and ad-user-data signals remain denied. Google Analytics storage starts denied and is enabled only if you choose “Allow analytics.” If you decline, Google can still receive limited consent-mode pings without analytics cookies so we can model aggregate activity.

Your choice is stored in local storage under expensive-button-analytics-consent. It is not used as an advertising identifier. We do not use analytics data to build advertising profiles or sell personal data. Hosting infrastructure can still process standard request data for delivery, security, and diagnostics.

Live Button iframe

The official widget is a first-party page that third-party publishers can embed. It does not require an account or set an advertising cookie. Loading or using it can still create ordinary hosting, aggregate analytics, security, and deduplicated click requests as described in the Privacy Policy. The embedding website remains responsible for its own disclosures and consent obligations.

Stripe Checkout

Checkout opens on Stripe's hosted payment page. Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies needed for payment, fraud prevention, preferences, and its own service operation. Stripe's disclosures apply once you visit its domain.

Your controls

You can accept or decline Google Analytics storage from the consent control shown on your first visit, and you can clear local storage to see that choice again. You can block or delete DataFast and other cookies in your browser. Blocking technologies required by Stripe can prevent checkout from working.

Changes

If advertising, personalization, or other optional technologies are added later, this policy and the consent control will be updated before those technologies are enabled. See the Privacy Policy for broader data-processing details.
