Paid placement

Every owner placement is paid advertising. Position as the current owner does not mean that Touristas Technologies has reviewed, approved, recommended, certified, invested in, or partnered with the owner or destination.

Defense Boosts

A Defense Boost is paid public participation that raises the active owner's button value. It is not a donation, investment, security, equity interest, prize, endorsement, partnership, or purchase of button ownership, traffic, or a destination link. Optional backer names and messages are user-submitted and do not express Touristas Technologies' views.

Personalized challenge pages

Visitors can generate pages that name a public-facing brand, creator, organization, or project as a challenge recipient. The public-facing name and aggregate count can appear on the public Most Wanted board. Pages and counts are visitor-created invitations only—not votes, accusations, endorsements, or evidence that the named party created the page, agreed to participate, or has any affiliation with Touristas Technologies or the Service.

No earnings or performance promise

We do not promise any number of visitors, clicks, leads, customers, sales, revenue, followers, press mentions, search rankings, or return on spend. An Arena, category, Daily Crown, or Hall of Fame rank is public recognition inside the experiment—not evidence of advertising performance or expected return. Any public account of another buyer's result describes only that buyer's experience and should not be treated as typical or guaranteed.

Time Shield scope

A paid Time Shield blocks competing takeovers for the exact selected period after verified activation. It does not guarantee uninterrupted Service or embed availability, traffic, clicks, results, or immunity from action required for legal, safety, payment, or rules enforcement. The “Until outbid” option has no minimum ownership period.

Click-count limitations

Displayed clicks are deduplicated operational measurements. Privacy settings, network sharing, bots, blocked requests, browser differences, outages, and abuse filtering can cause the count to differ from a destination's analytics.

Third-party embeds

Unaffiliated publishers can voluntarily install or remove the official live Button iframe. We do not promise that any publisher will install it or guarantee the number, quality, duration, context, impressions, clicks, or results of embedded distribution. An iframe placement does not mean that Touristas Technologies or the current owner approves, sponsors, controls, or partners with the embedding website.

Third-party destinations

The owner controls the linked destination. Touristas Technologies is not responsible for its content, availability, products, security, claims, prices, contracts, or personal-data practices. Visitors should evaluate a destination before providing information or money.

Availability

The Service depends on hosting, database, network, analytics, and payment providers. Interruptions or delays can occur. A checkout becomes an ownership transfer only after verified payment fulfillment.
